Diego Muñoz: process first, software second

I am a process and technology consultant based in Lima. I walk through your operation with the people who run it, measure the indicator you want to move, and only then choose the tool: Odoo, an AI agent, an integration or a dashboard.

When the system arrives before the process, the mess moves into the ERP

I see it in mid-sized companies that bought an ERP to get organised. The software gets installed and the operation keeps running outside it.

  • Purchase approvals still happen on WhatsApp, and the system records the order after the payment has gone out.
  • The warehouse keeps its own spreadsheet because system stock does not match the physical count.
  • Nobody can say whether the project improved anything, because nothing was measured before go-live.

That is why each of my projects starts by walking the process with your team and measuring one indicator before touching the system.

DMG-RT · Results with Technology

One indicator per intervention: how DMG-RT works

It is the method I apply on every project. Phases and deliverables never change; scope, indicator and technology do.

You deal with me in every phase and approve each deliverable before it is invoiced.

Every workflow runs in my Odoo lab first

Before I bring a configuration into your company, I build and test it with a fictitious company. These screens come from that environment.

Odoo purchase order fully received
Site purchase order with the analytic budget line on each item and a log of every receipt.
Odoo purchase order approval board
Purchase orders waiting for approval from the site manager or general management.
Construction budget in Odoo Accounting
Construction budget by line item: committed, allocated and achieved in a single view.
Process self-assessment result screen
Result of this site’s process self-assessment, with its three recommended actions.

Tools I choose after the assessment

ERP
Odoo 17 to 20, Community and Enterprise, with SUNAT e-invoicing and PLE ledgers.
AI and agents

Integrations
REST and JSON-RPC APIs, payment gateways, points of sale and marketplaces.
Data and dashboards
Dashboards in Odoo and Power BI built on source data.
Development
Python and OWL for custom Odoo modules; Oracle APEX for data applications.
Cloud
Linux servers with Docker, scheduled backups and monitoring.

In the 30-minute call I show you the lab workflow closest to your process.

Background: from systems engineering to process consulting

I lead every Dmunoz Group project and answer your messages personally. I work on site, next to the people who run the process.

I use TOGAF as my enterprise architecture framework: capabilities, processes, data and systems, reduced to what a mid-sized company needs to decide. That order avoids buying technology for a badly defined problem.

At the end of each phase you receive a document you can review and approve. The code lives in a dedicated module, in your company’s repository.

Four rules I apply on every project

  1. If what you already have solves the problem, I tell you so and do not sell you another system.

  2. Every agreement is in writing: scope, deliverables, amounts and what is left out.

  3. An AI agent does not write to your system without a clear rule and a person supervising it.

  4. I prefer a small approved milestone to a large project nobody uses.

The call is phase F0 of DMG-RT and is free of charge.

  1. You tell me how the process that worries you most runs today.
  2. I tell you whether I can help and which indicator I would measure first.
  3. If it makes sense, I send you the assessment proposal with scope and schedule.
